When Survivor 5
Thailand debuted we saw Ken Stafford as
the odds-on favorite to go the distance, not
so much because he was a big strapping
fellow, which he was, but because by
profession he was a New York City cop, who
you'd think would've started out with a
certain amount of sympathy in his favor
after the terror attacks on his hometown a
scant year earlier.
On the other hand, if human nature tells us anything at
all, it's that all measure of sympathy,
compassion, appreciation, and even
patriotism go right down the drain when a
million bucks ~ winner take all~ is dangling
like a carrot on a stick. As in, "C'ya
Kennie ol' boy, and give our regards to
Broadway".
Ken lasted 26 days before departing during the first
Tribal Council after the Thailand merge.
Yet here at SurvivorHunks.com we would be
remiss if we didn't take the time to salute
the real-life work that Ken does day-in and
day-out ~ assuming he isn't on the take! ~ and
to wish him safety & success
in equal portions all the days of his life. |
