Dave Johnson was presented to us as a
real-life rocket scientist, a NASA employee
working at the vaunted JPL in Pasadena.
And so it's somehow fitting that Astroboy
was figuratively, if not literally "on the
moon" when it came to playing the game of Survivor.
One would think it wouldn't have taken a rocket
scientist to see the trend developing ~
meaning the Amazon women slowly taking
control, and voting out their male
counterparts chap by chap.
One would think it wouldn't have taken a rocket
scientist to craft a plan to turn a 6 to 4
post-merge male advantage into an all-male
final three.
One would think it wouldn't have taken a rocket
scientist to pad a jury with somewhat
sympathetic votes and take home the whole
darn million.
But in Dave's case one would have thought wrong on all
counts! The rocket scientist orbited
the Amazon for exactly 23 days before his
contrail fizzled and he crash-landed with a
resounding thud.
